Frampton      Around the pools today four Sparrowhawks circling together, a Red Kite, at least seven Common Terns, 54 Mute Swans and six cygnets, an Oystercatcher and two young. a Kingfisher and three young, 6+ Swifts, ten Chiffchaffs, 24 Blackcaps, six Whitethroats, a Lesser Whitethroat, eight Cetti’s Warblers and two Yellow Wagtails. Cotswold Water Park East     A Great White Egret again and a calling Cuckoo on Pit 132 today. (Duncan Dine).

WWT Slimbridge    A Knot, a Whimbrel, a Grey Plover and male and female Yellow Wagtails on the Dumbles viewed from Middle Point at 10am. (Jeremy Holland). Three immature SPOONBILLS still on the estuary today. (Slimbridge Sightings).

Gloucester    Between 12:15-1pm, a Peregrine pair circling over the tower block and hospital grounds. (Nikki Smith). A Red Kite over Llantony weir at 1:35pm then drifted slowly over to towards Alney Island. (Gordon Avery).

Coombe Hill Meadows    Two Great White Egrets, three Little Egrets, three Curlews, two Avocets and two chicks, two Oystercatchers and a juvenile, four Little Ringed Plovers, two Redshanks and a Lapwing with three chicks. (Les Ditchburn).

Whitminster     Two Red Kites circling overhead at 12:22pm being harassed by Jackdaws. (Tanya Allen).

Guscar & Aylburton Warth     At high tide 14 Canada Geese, 16 Shelducks, four Mallards, two Grey Herons, two Oystercatchers, three Ringed Plovers, 36 Curlews, ten Redshanks, 5+ Skylarks, 2-3 Meadow Pipits, at least three Reed Warblers, a Cetti’s Warbler and 1+ Reed Bunting. (Mike Smart).
