Forest of Dean    At Edge Hills and Haywood Plantations this morning a male Firecrest, three Garden Warblers, four Spotted Flycatchers, at least seven (three juvs) Stonechats, three Tree Pipits and four Crossbills. A Red Kite near the Severn Bore pub at Minsterworth. (Andy Jayne).

WWT Slimbridge     A Spotted Redshank and a SPOONBILL from Zeiss hide. A Barn Owl hunting the sea wall viewed from Estuary Tower. A Green Sandpiper and  55+ Black-tailed Godwits on the Rushy. An eclipse drake GARGANEY on South Lake. (Roberta Goodall/MK). A Kingfisher from Martin Smith hide today. Also here a Reed Warbler, a Sedge Warbler and a Little Egret. (Heather England).

Daneway     Four Redstarts (2 juvs, 1 m, 1f) seen around Daneway Banks and the small meadow E of Siccaridge Wood this morning. (Sam Walker).

Halmore     A Cuckoo calling this morning between Halmore and Purton, first since the end of May. (Chris Newton).

Arlingham     A juvenile Tawny Owl today. (Marc Freebrey).
