WWT Slimbridge    On South Lake seven moulting male Ruff and two Spotted Redshanks. At Middle Point three Whimbrels and two SPOONBILLS flew N.  (Slimbridge Sightings/Andy Chapman).

Coombe Hill Meadows     This morning 11 Little Egrets, a Great White Egret, four Grey Herons, three Little Ringed Plovers, 20+ Lapwings, two Avocets, a Curlew. Also four Red Kites and two Buzzards on the meadows being cut for silage. (Martin Price).

Forest of Dean    A Spotted Flycatcher bathing at the Campbell hide at Nagshead. A Grey Wagtail at Cannop Stoneworks. (Bettie Sloane).

Whitminster     A Hobby flew into Willows near the entrance to Fromebridge Mill at 7:25pm today. (Paul Sutton).

Stonehouse     A Kingfisher yesterday and this morning along the canal around the Ocean. (Paul Sutton).

Frampton pools     A Hobby, a Great White Egret, 12 Little Egrets, ten Common Terns and one young, 14 juvenile Black-headed Gulls, two Cormorants, an Oystercatcher still feeding a full grown chick, 40+ Swifts and a juvenile Green Woodpecker. (Nick Goatman).

Ashleworth Ham     CES ringing session caught c140 birds including three Redstarts, four Sedge Warblers, c20 Whitethroats, two juvenile Lesser Whitethroats, six Blackcaps, six Chiffchaffs, a juvenile Willow Warbler, six Long-tailed Tits, six Linnets, two juvenile Bullfinches and eight juvenile Reed Buntings. Twyning     At Upham Meadow this evening an adult Curlew, two Common Terns along the Avon, a Reed Warbler, 2/3 Reed Buntings and a Corn Bunting singing. (Mike Smart).
