Purton     This morning two Garden Warblers, two Sedge Warblers, a Willow Warbler, a Reed Warbler, five Lesser Whitethroats, three Whitethroats and 15 Blackcaps. Two Common Terns high downriver. (Francis Steuck).

WWT Slimbridge     The WOOD SANDPIPER showing well at Zeiss hide at midday. (Ian Hull).

Frampton pools     Four Great White Egrets on Court lake and the adult Yellow-legged Gull on the Sailing Lake today. (Nick Goatman).

Prestbury     A Turtle Dove reported this afternoon at Queenwood Grove. (per BirdGuides).

Rodborough Common     This evening a Whinchat, two Redstarts and a Wheatear all c300m E of the fort, around the water-trough. Also two Swift, three Sand Martins and a juvenile Great Black-backed Gull over. (Francis Steuck).

May Hill     71 Swallows in a line near the old Chapel in the middle of May Hill village. (Rob Guest).

Stanley Downton     This morning 8:30-10am several juvenile Whitethroats along hedges and the railway embankment. A Hobby again, circled very high then flew SW, a first year male Peregrine on a pylon in the fields below Bond’s Mill and a Little Egret at the Ocean. (Paul Sutton).
