Breadstone    At Bushy Grove a juvenile Pied Flycatcher this morning. Also 22 Spotted Flycatchers (mostly juveniles), three Great Spotted Woodpeckers (one juvenile), two Goldcrests, a Willow Warbler, a Coal Tit, a Raven, a Buzzard and a Jay, also a Brown Hawker and three very late Purple Hairstreaks. Painswick Beacon         From 6am to 9am passage SW included four Meadow Pipits, 33 Swifts, 57 Swallows and three House Martins, also two Crossbills E at 7:30am and a Hobby SW at 6:15pm. Meadow Pipits feeding grown young in the hillfort. (John Fleming).

Rodborough Common     This morning three Redstarts, a Lesser Whitethroat and two Willow Warblers. Vismig included two Tree Pipits S, a Yellow Wagtail, a Siskin, a House Martin and ten Swallows. (Francis Steuck). Four Swifts flying low and heading E over the Common at 8pm this evening. (Colin Greenfield).

Nailsworth    Four Swifts and a Little Egret over Windsoredge at 6:30pm. (Terry Grant).

WWT Slimbridge     Two SPOONBILLS from Zeiss hide. (Roy Kinchin). A Marsh Harrier over the Rushy and three Spotted Redshanks. (Jonathan Bull).

Stonehouse    Two Buzzards, two Kestrels, a juvenile and a male, a Chiffchaff, a female Whitethroat, a Little Egret, four Grey Herons, 20+ Swallows, ten House Martins and a Muntjac. A large flock of Goldfinches near the sewage works and 15+ Long-tailed Tits. (Paul Sutton).

Stinchcombe Hill     This evening a Mediterranean Gull with a mixed Common Gull and Black-headed Gull flock. (James Robinson).

Whitminster     A Little Owl this morning. (Andy Rudge).

Aylburton Warth     At high tide two juvenile Shelducks, five Mallards, a Kestrel, four Ringed Plovers, a Dunlin, 503 Curlews, a Whimbrel, three Green Sandpipers, a Common Sandpiper and eight Yellow Wagtails in two family parties around the cows. (Mike Smart).
