Awre     A RICHARD’S PIPIT again at lunchtime, presumably the same bird but not seen for 3 weeks (sweeten.dries.tarred, SO71610903). Park at the church and follow the footpath out to the shoreline. (Lewis Thomson).

Saul Warth     Early morning pre-high tide 600+ Dunlins, ten Grey Plovers, 64 Curlews, two Bar-tailed Godwits and 24 Shelducks. At high tide 168 Lapwings, 20 Dunlins, seven Wigeon and 35 Canada Geese all flew S, also an adult KITTIWAKE, a Common Sandpiper, a drake Teal, two Rock Pipits and a Stonechat. (MK).

Frampton     On the Sailing Lake a male Goosander, 14 Great Crested Grebes, an adult Yellow-legged Gull and a Chiffchaff. On Court Lake a Common Sandpiper, two Green Sandpipers, a Grey Wagtail, 65 Gadwalls and four Wigeon. (Nick Goatman).

Forest of Dean     Seven Goosanders (1m, 6f) on Woorgreens Lake today. (Chris Moore). Two Red Kites over Hopes Hill, Longhope at 12:15pm today. (Angela Carswell).

WWT Slimbridge    Seven Cattle Egrets on South Lake today. (Paul Masters/Andy Chapman). Two Bewick’s Swans on the Rushy. (Jonathan Bull). Three Spotted Redshanks and 20+ White-fronted Geese on the Tack Piece. (Tim Jukes). A drake Mandarin on the Rushy. (Steve Pullen).

Coombe Hill Meadows     This afternoon a MERLIN, a Buzzard, a Sparrowhawk and a Little Owl. (Ian Hull).

Leonard Stanley     This evening a Barn Owl flew across the road towards Stanley Downton, heading towards the sewage works. (Paul Sutton).

Gloucester    A Greenfinch on the feeders late afternoon in Abbeydale, a garden first. (Terry Smith).
