Awre The RICHARD’S PIPIT seen and heard calling at 9:40am from a grassy field the other side of the sea wall and again at 9:55am and heard at 10:05am at SO7204508849. Park at St Andrew’s Church and follow the footpath out to the shoreline. Also three Common Cranes, 45+ Curlews, two Snipe, 120+ Lapwings, 60+ Common Gulls, a Rock Pipit, 20+ Meadow Pipits, eight Stonechats, 10+ Skylarks and a Reed Bunting, a Common Darter and a Peacock. Coombe Hill Meadows An adult KITTIWAKE on the Short pool, two Mute Swans, 179 Greylags, 45 Canada Geese, a Swan Goose, 99 Wigeon, two Gadwalls, 19 Teal, 25 Mallards, five Shovelers, two Moorhens, five Snipe, 150 Herring Gulls and a Lesser Black-backed Gull roosting at first light, a Sparrowhawk, a Peregrine, a Kingfisher, ten Meadow Pipits, 11 Skylarks, 60 Pied Wagtails, large numbers of Fieldfares and Redwings, at least four Stonechats, at least two singing Cetti’s Warblers and a Chiffchaff calling.(Mike Smart/Ian Ralphs).

Frampton From Splatt Bridge this morning two MERLINS, a Great White Egret, an adult Mediterranean Gull, 200 Dunlins, 35 Grey Plovers, three Bar-tailed Godwits, 300 Lapwings S, two Stonechats, a Chiffchaff, many Redwings and Fieldfares and a Brambling over. (Gordon Hodgson). Around the pools this afternoon on the Sailing Lake, three Little Grebes, four Great Crested Grebes, a Yellow-legged Gull, three Common Gulls and four Shovelers. On Court Lake, 20+ Gadwalls, 20+ Wigeon, three Little Grebes, nine Cormorants and a Little Egret. Also a Peacock butterfly. (Steve Pullen). Saul Warth Late morning five Grey Plovers, a Common Sandpiper, 15 Curlews, 26 Shelducks, two Stonechats, six Skylarks, 15 Meadow Pipits, three Grey Herons and four Little Egrets. Also a Red Admiral and a Common Darter. (Steve Pullen).
Cotswold Water Park West On Pit 41 seven Goosanders, a Red Kite, a Kingfisher, four Chiffchaffs and a Nuthatch, two Goldeneye nearby on Pit 57. Also a Clouded Yellow and Brimstone and Common Darters. (Andy Jayne).

Gloucester At Horsbere Flood Storage Area five Stonechats (3m,2f), six Goldfinches, two Linnets, two Reed Buntings, two Mute Swans, two Grey Herons, two Teals, a Kestrel and a Buzzard. (John Fletcher). A Kingfisher on the river in Barnwood Park. (Rob Crofton).
