Saul Warth At high tide a Swift flew E at 12:35pm, 77 Shelducks, 40 Curlews, four Avocets, two Oystercatchers, three Dunlins, five Grey Herons, four Little Egrets, a Kestrel, two Little Owls and 30+ House Martins. Also a Weasel, a patch first and a Silver-Y moth. (MK).
Frampton On the Saling Lake a lunchtime a Greenshank feeding on top of the weed mat, the adult Yellow-legged Gull still, 21 Swifts 100’s of Sand Martins with a few Swallows and House Martins and a Reed Warbler still feeding young in the nest. (Nick Goatman).

Cotswold Water Park East At Whelford on Pit 111 five Great Crested Grebes (3 juvs), two Red Crested Pochards, 15 Tufted Ducks, 19 Mallards, three Gadwalls, 19 Mallards, four Greylags, 17 Coots, two Moorhens, 31 Cormorants, a Little Egret, male and female Blackcap, two Willow Warblers and a Sedge Warbler. On Pit 111a six Great Crested Grebes (5 juvs) and nine Coots. On Pit 111b a Common Tern, five Mute Swans (3 cygnets), six Great Crested Grebes (4 juvs), three Moorhens, three Coots, four Mallards and four Tufted Ducks. On Pit 127 15 Red Crested Pochards and four Mute Swans (2 cygnets). (John Fletcher).

Hucclecote This morning male Sparrowhawk took a male Blackbird in the garden and flew off E with it. Garden birds also included 23 Feral Pigeons and a Coal Tit. (Harold Smith).
