WWT Slimbridge     Two BEARDED TITS in the reeds in front of the Shepherd’s Hut at 8:30am. (John Budd). The male WHITE-SPOTTED BLUETHROAT still in the reedbeds but elusive and generally quiet. Also from Middle Point the SPOONBILL, a Little Egret, a Bar-tailed Godwit, the leucistic Lapwing, a Common Tern and two Lesser Whitethroats. Five Ruff, a Spotted Redshank, a Green Sandpiper and a Black Swan on South Lake. Two Green Sandpipers from Robbie Garnett hide. A Great White Egret from Knott hide. Barnsley Warren SSSI     On the Welsh Way spur, three Redstarts (3m, 1f) seen and others heard, two male Yellowhammers, two Whitethroats, a Bullfinch, two Green Woodpeckers, a Great Spotted Woodpecker and 4/5 Stock Doves. A minimum of 6 each of Red Kites and Buzzards very vocal in the air together. Also a Fox. (Steve Brown).

Hinchwick     This afternoon, near Hinchwick two Spotted Flycatchers on the edge of a conifer plantation at SP12553070 and a QUAIL calling from a nearby field at SP12003033 and at least two Corn Buntings in the hedgerow around the same field. (Martine & Pete Fenn).

Cheltenham     A Peregrine over the Sunday afternoon musical entertainment in Montpellier Gardens. (Steve Brown).

Snowshill    At least one pair of Corn Buntings with Yellowhammers. (Kirsty Attrell).
