WWT Slimbridge     Three Cattle Egrets, a Great White Egret, a Goshawk circling near the canal, a Red Kite, a Spotted Redshank and six Green Sandpipers and a Yellow Wagtail on the Top New Piece from Zeiss hide. (Oliver Paisey).

Broadoak     Three Ring-necked Parakeets on the edge of an orchard in Hawkins Lane at 8:15am. (Steve Rickard).

Epney     At 2:20pm two Black-tailed Godwits resting on the bank S of the Anchor Inn. Also two Great Black-backed Gulls and six Sand Martins. At 2:45pm a Red Kite over Grove End, Hardwicke. (MK).

Saul Warth     This afternoon 100 distant Curlews, a Little Egret, six Reed Buntings (4m) and two Brown Hawkers. (MK).

Frampton pools     An adult Tawny Owl, a Spotted Flycatcher feeding young still, Black-headed Gull chicks starting to fly. This evening a Hobby, a Cattle Egret, 11 Little Egrets and 40-50 Swifts gathering in the evening. (Nick Goatman).

Coombe Hill Meadows     This afternoon three Buzzards, two Red Kites, a Kestrel, a Grey Heron, broods of 5, 3 & 3 Whitethroats, 4, 4 & 3 Lesser Whitethroats and 4, 3 & 3 Sedge Warblers, 5+ Skylarks, two Reed Warblers, 6+ Reed Buntings, 10+ Goldfinches, four Linnets, six House Martins and two Swallows. Maisemore     Two Mute Swans, a Moorhen, a Common Sandpiper, two Little Egrets, a Grey Heron, two Mallards, a Song Thrush, four Swallows and two Reed Buntings today. (John Fletcher).

Purton     Two Common Terns on the canal this morning, 3+ Cormorants and a Little Egret by Tites Point on the river. (Mike Davis).
