WWT Slimbridge     Two SPOONBILLS, a Great White Egret and a Pink-footed Goose of unknown origin from Zeiss hide. From Robbie Garnett hide ten Green Sandpipers and two Little Ringed Plovers. Two Mandarins in the Decoy. At Middle Point two juvenile Stonechats, three Ringed Plovers and two Sanderlings. Two Spotted Redshanks on South Lake. (Dot Jones/Oliver Paisey).

Saul Warth     Early morning high tide 105 Curlews, 44 Avocets, 20 Dunlins, all juveniles, a Redshank, 15 Shelducks, four Little Egrets, three Grey Herons, a female Marsh Harrier, a Buzzard, two Kestrels, a juvenile Green Woodpecker, 25 Pied Wagtails, a Grey Wagtail, three Chiffchaffs, a Whitethroat, four Blackcaps and a Swallow. Frampton pools     A Cattle Egret, four Little Egrets, three Grey Herons, six Swifts, 30+ Sand Martins, 10+ House Martins, five Swallows, eight Gadwalls, three Tufted Ducks, three Teal, three Lesser Whitethroats, two Whitethroats and a Common Tern. (Nick Goatman).

Stinchcombe Hill     A Wood Warbler calling frequently below Drakestone viewpoint, six Swifts and three Ravens at Stinchcombe Hill GC this afternoon. (Craig Brookes).

Winchcombe area     Four Red Kites together, a Hobby over, a Redstart, a movement of 15 Swifts, c20 House Martins and c20 Barn Swallows, two Goshawks near Farmcote, a family of Spotted Flycatchers and a Marsh Tit. (Rob & Petra Crofton).

Coombe Hill Meadows     Between the car park and the Grundon hide a Grey Heron and three calling Redstarts. Also Small Copper and Small Heath butterflies and a few Ruddy Darters in very dry conditions. (Keith White). Also two Willow Emerald Damselflies along the canal. (Andy Jayne).

Stroud     At Fromebanks N.R. three Dippers (2 ads, 1 juv), two Kingfishers, a Jay and a Grey Wagtail and a Mandarin on the canal. (Mike Davis).
