Nailsworth     A QUAIL sang three times in a field at Barton End layby between 5:15pm and 5:50pm this evening. Also three Red Kites and a flock of 80+ Linnets. (Terry Grant).

WWT Slimbridge     A Hobby, a BITTERN and the Pink-footed Goose from Van de Bovenkamp hide. (Oliver Hague). From Robbie Garnett hide 12+ Green Sandpiper, a WOOD SANDPIPER, two Ruff, 20+ Yellow Wagtails, six Pied Wagtails, three Linnets and three Reed Warblers. (Paul Clark). Two Spotted Redshanks and the Tundra Bean Goose on South Lake. (Ken Mihill/Thomas McClung). Two SPOONBILLS from Zeiss hide. (Thomas McClung).

Saul Warth     Early morning high tide a Knot, 17 Black-tailed Godwits, 122 Curlews, 20 Shelducks, a Cattle Egret, seven Little Egrets, three Grey Herons, two Buzzards, two Kestrels, a Whinchat, two Yellow Wagtails flew E, six Pied Wagtails, a Grey Wagtail, two Chiffchaffs, two Blackcaps and three Swallows. Also a pair of Roe Deer, a Painted Lady and a Jersey Tiger moth. (MK).

Elmore Court     In the rewilding area a Whinchat still, and a Spotted Flycatcher along the Severn Way near Groundless Pool this afternoon, also two Stock Doves, four Chiffchaffs, two Blackcaps, two Grey Herons. (Paul Masters).

Aylburton Common     A juvenile Spotted Flycatcher around trees in the garden this evening. (Martin Vaisey).

Frampton pools     Two Swifts over Court Lake, 30+ mix of House Martins, Sand Martins and a few Swallows and the Yellow-legged Gull sat in a field this evening. (Nick Goatman).

Cheltenham     An escaped Citrus Swallowtail in the garden today. (Duncan Dine).

Ashleworth Ham     A CEF ringing session today caught 59 birds including three Redstarts, two Sedge Warblers, a Reed Warbler, four Whitethroats, a Chiffchaff, a Great Spotted Woodpecker, 16 Long-tailed Tits, a Linnet, 11 Goldfinches and two Bullfinches.
