WWT Slimbridge On the Rushy today a Wood Sandpiper, three Greenshanks, two Spotted Redshanks, a Ruff, a Redshank, a Black-tailed Godwit, a Snipe, two Common Terns, two Garganeys and a Sedge Warbler. On the Tack Piece a very brief Goosander (Andy Jayne), a Golden Plover, five Green Sandpipers, two Ruff, two Avocets and a Little Ringed Plover. A family of five Stonechats on the cross-fence off the Summer Walkway and three Sanderlings from Middle Point. A Mediterranean Gull on South Lake. Saul Warth At 6am low tide 96 Curlews, a Whimbrel heard, ten Black-tailed Godwits, 13 Avocets, two Great White Egrets, two Little Egrets, 11 Grey Herons, the escaped Greater Flamingo, 10+ Chiffchaffs, a Willow Warbler, two Whitethroats, five Skylarks and three Grey Wagtails. (MK).
