WWT Slimbridge     Two GLOSSY IBISES (adult and juvenile) flew in to the Rushy resting for 10 minutes before flying off fairly low to the NE and were seen over the 100-Acre from Middle Point. On the Top New Piece from Zeiss hide two PECTORAL SANDPIPERS, a Wood Sandpiper, 220 Dunlins, three Little Stints, three Knot, 50+ Lapwings, two Golden Plovers, 12 Ringed Plovers, a Greenshank, 11 Spotted Redshanks, 20 Ruff, six Pintails, 13 Common Cranes and two Marsh Harriers. Saul Warth     From 6:40-9am 162 Curlews, two Bar-tailed Godwits, 240 Avocets, 50 Ringed Plovers, a Common Sandpiper, a Little Stint, a Knot, 200 Dunlins, eight Grey Plovers, a Redshank, 287 Shelducks, 40 Teal, five Wigeon, six Grey Herons, seven Cattle Egrets, a Little Egret, a Peregrine, a female Marsh Harrier and a Stonechat. Frampton     From Splatt Bridge at 9:30am no sign of the Glossy Ibises. Three Marsh Harriers (male, female and juvenile) and two Kestrels there scattering everything. Also two Pintails, three Common Cranes, 20 Meadow Pipits, a Chiffchaff, a Cetti’s Warbler and a Jay. (MK). Around the pools a Hobby, 14 Cattle Egrets, five Great White Egrets, six Little Egrets, eight Grey Herons, 41 Cormorants, 30 Gadwalls, 17 Wigeon, 60 Mallards, six Shovelers, 32 Teal, nine Tufted Ducks, a Green Sandpiper, an adult Yellow-legged Gull, five Little Grebes, nine Great Crested Grebes, 11 Chiffchaffs and two Blackcaps. Walmore Common     163 Greylags, a Gadwall, eight Teal, two Snipe, four Cattle Egrets, four Stonechats and a Whinchat. (Andy Jayne).
