Coombe Hill Meadows     This morning three Buzzards, a Red Kite, two Kestrels, two Ravens, 6+ Skylarks, two Meadow Pipits, three Stonechats, a mixed flock of 30+ Goldfinches and Linnets and a Reed Bunting. Also a Southern Hawker, 12+ Migrant Hawkers, 10+ Willow Emerald damselflies and 25+ Clouded Yellow butterflies. (Paul Clark).

WWT Slimbridge     A SANDWICH TERN flew fast downstream off the Dumbles at 9:50am. 22 Redshanks, 19 Greenshanks, 16 Golden Plovers, 16 Grey Plovers, three Knot, four Little Stints, a Black-tailed Godwit, six Bar-tailed Godwits, three Ruff, 250 Dunlins, 100 Ringed Plovers and 170 Avocets from Middle Point. Two Little Stints, two Curlew Sandpipers, a Green Sandpiper, a Snipe, two Spotted Redshanks and five Ruff on the Top New Piece. (Ian Ralphs). Additionally from Estuary Tower two Sanderlings, 26 Ruff, a Marsh Harrier, six Little Egrets and a Common Crane. From Robbie Garnett hide a Wood Sandpiper, later on the Rushy, and a Green Sandpiper and 40 Linnets on the Tack Piece. A Great White Egret, a Greenshank and six Spotted Redshanks on the Rushy.
