Saul Warth     Between 6:30-9am no tide, increase to 135 Avocets, 96 Curlews, three Grey Plovers, 166 Shelducks, 20 Teal, ten Common Cranes, a Little Egret, six Grey Herons, a Mistle Thrush, two Chiffchaffs, ten Skylarks, three Ravens, a Siskin over, 45 Linnets and a Reed Bunting. (MK).

Cleeve Hill     Between 8:15-11:15am 40+ Fieldfares, 15+ Redwings, 5+ Blackbirds, three Goldcrests, a Coal Tit, a Red Kite, a Buzzard, two Yellowhammers, 10+ Meadow Pipits, 6+ Linnets, six Skylarks and a Stock Dove. (Paul Masters/Andy Chapman).

Frampton     From Splatt Bridge at first light today, a Brambling over heading E, two Kingfishers on the canal, a Stonechat, four Chiffchaffs, five Mistle Thrushes by the church, ten Pied Wagtails over, 300+ Starlings departed the reedbeds, 12 Curlews over and several Common Cranes calling nearby. Coombe Hill Meadows     This morning 13 Teal, 20 Mallards, four Moorhens, a Green Sandpiper on Long Pool, 15 Skylarks over, ten Meadow Pipits, a Pied Wagtail, 50 Jackdaws, ten Linnets, 20 Goldfinches, a Bullfinch and two Reed Buntings. (Mike Smart).

Chavenage Lane area     Eight Red Kites, four Stonechats and a male Merlin today. (Terry Grant).

Prestbury     A Hawfinch flew over the lower paddock area at Noverton Farm today. (Ken Heron).

WWT Slimbridge    The TEMMINCK’S STINT still on the Rushy today, but missing for most of the morning. The YELLOW-BROWED WARBLER still in the hedges along the Estuary Walkway but not calling much hence very elusive. Presumably the same back at Kingfisher hide at 3:10pm but still elusive. (Ian Hull). A BITTERN showed well this morning from Van de Bovenkamp hide between 9:50-10am. Also a Peregrine flew through very close to the hide. Two Red Kites circled over the 100-Acre N of the Estuary Tower at 10:50am. Also a drake Mandarin in the Decoy and a Lesser Redpoll flew over. (MK).

Elmore Court     In the rewilding area this morning, a juvenile Goshawk over heading towards the scrape area, a Redwing, three Ravens and five Jays. (Steve Pullen).

A Green Sandpiper from Knott hide. 30 Grey Plovers off of Middle Point. The leucistic Jackdaw still around the grounds. Saul Warth     Between 7:30-10am, a patch record 220 Avocets, 95 Curlews, five Grey Plovers, 158 Shelducks, two Wigeon, 140 Teal, three Little Egrets, 80 Woodpigeons, two Chiffchaffs, a Raven, two Mistle Thrushes, two Skylarks, ten Meadow Pipits and a Reed Bunting. (MK).

Fretherne    Four Cattle Egrets and eight Little Egrets in a field beside the Arlingham Road at SO 74181 08879 at 10am. This is a dangerous road, there is no close parking to this field, either park at Fretherne Bridge or on the verge just before the nurseries and walk. (MK).

Halmore    Around the woods today a Kestrel, a Buzzard, a Kingfisher, a Blackcap, a Nuthatch, two Greenfinches, a Great Spotted Woodpecker, a Song Thrush, eight Long-Tailed Tits, five Linnets, a flock of c25 Redwings at dusk and a male Muntjac. (Chris Newton).

Coombe Hill Meadows     This morning a Kestrel, a Kingfisher, a Green Woodpecker, two Great Spotted Woodpeckers, a Fieldfare, 20+ Redwings, 50+ mixed flock of Linnets and Goldfinches, 32 Canada Geese over, 6+ Skylarks, three Meadow Pipits, two Reed Buntings, 6+ Long-tailed Tits and 4+ male Willow Emerald damselflies. Newnham-on-Severn     A Firecrest and two Swallows along the river this morning. (Dan Watson).

Dudbridge     Four Swallows over heading SE at 12:30pm. (Steve Pullen).

Stonehouse to Ebley     Along the Stroudwater Canal this morning five Cormorants and a Kingfisher at Ebley wharf. A Little Grebe at Ryeford double lock and a Jay. A Cetti’s Warbler between Skew bridge and Wycliffe old boat house. A Sparrowhawk over Upper Mills bridge. A Kingfisher along the canal between St Cyr’s to the Ocean and a Cormorant at the Ocean. Tewkesbury     Two GLOSSY IBISES flew south over Ripple Pits (Worcs) south lake at 4:20pm and continued high south towards Tewkesbury. (Andy Warr).

Saul Warth     At 7:30am at high tide in poor conditions 185+ Avocets still, 125 Curlews, eight Grey Plovers, a Redshank, 37 Lapwings, 27 Shelducks, 100 Teal, four Little Egrets, three Grey Herons, a Chiffchaff and a Peregrine on Black-headed Gull prey. (MK).

Gloucester     A Red Kite this morning at 8:40am over the house and Llantony Weir moving in a northerly direction. (Gord Avery).
