Frampton     At lunchtime at the sailing lake a YELLOW-BROWED WARBLER feeding well in the southern hedge. Also two Chiffchaffs, three Blackcaps, four Stonechats and a few Redwings. (Nick Goatman). The YELLOW-BROWED WARBLER was relocated in the hedge at 4:10pm after a 2 hour search. (Martin McGill/MK).

Alderton      A female BLACK REDSTART this afternoon in private gardens. (Graham Tompsett).

WWT Slimbridge     A Dark-bellied Brent Goose on the Dumbles. (Dot Jones). A very elusive FIRECREST glimpsed in the trees between Willow hide and Knott hide, with many Goldcrests and Chiffchaffs. A Kingfisher briefly from Knott hide . Three Snipe on the Tack Piece. (Chris Newton). A BITTERN flew from the Zeiss hide reedbed over Van de Bovenkamp hide into South Finger reedbed at 10:18am. Tidenham     Two JACK SNIPE at Poor’s Allotment today. (Paul Rich).

Sapperton     This afternoon at least two Hawfinches at the western end of Sapperton Park Ride (Cirencester Park). Also further along the ride 35 Yellowhammers, a Brambling and two Marsh Tits. (Martine & Pete Fenn).

Chavenage Lane area     A flock of c40 Corn Buntings flew W towards Barton End, seven Red Kites and 8+ Buzzards today. (Terry Grant).

Coombe Hill Meadows     This afternoon, no access to Grundon Hide as the path is flooded, a Buzzard, a Kestrel, 40+ Fieldfares, 10+ Redwings, three Bullfinches, a Greenfinch, three Chiffchaffs, a Great Spotted Woodpecker, a Lapwing, three Gadwalls, 100+ Teal and 100+ Pintails. (Paul Clark). This morning 26 Greylags, 350 Wigeon, 14 Gadwalls, 350 Teal, 30 Mallards, 60 Pintails, 12 Shovelers, a Grey Heron, a Water Rail calling, ten Coots, a Lapwing, five Herring Gulls, 30 Fieldfares and a Cetti’s Warbler singing. (Mike Smart).

Rodley    At Wilmore Common today 83 Shovelers, 210 Wigeon, 60 Teal, 35 Mallards and a Little Egret. (Andy Jayne).

Forest of Dean     This morning at Cannop lower pond a pair of Goosanders, two Kingfishers, a Little Grebe and an immature Cormorant. On the Upper pond four Little Grebes, c20 Mandarins and more Mandarins in the small ponds to the side of the main pond. (Alan Waterman).
