Frampton     A BLACK TERN on the Sailing Lake from late afternoon until 8:25pm. (Jeremy Squire). Also two Common Terns, a Common Sandpiper and a Cuckoo. (MK). Cotswold Water Park East     Two BLACK TERNS on Pit 125 today. (Duncan Dine).

Five Swifts over Blakeney High Street today at 1:30pm and a Cuckoo at Viney Hill at 5:30pm. (John Lewis).

Berkeley shore     A Grey Plover, six Whimbrels, three Ringed Plovers and 31 Dunlins early morning. (Paul Taylor).

Cotswold Water Park West     A Cuckoo at Shorncote Reedbed today. (Claudia Dias).

Nailsworth     A Red Kite flew over Forest Green FC at 2:35pm. (Paul Sutton).

Cheltenham     A Red Kite circling over Kingsditch Lane at 3:45pm. (Iain Spence).

Quedgeley     At Shelduck Road a Cuckoo low overhead heading SE at2:15pm calling and being mobbed by several House Martins, a Hobby soaring overhead at 3pm, a Peregrine soaring overhead at lunchtime, a Raven displaying and two fledgling Starlings being fed by parents in garden this morning. Epney      At 8:30am a summer-plumaged Grey Plover flying NE high up. (Jeremy Squire).

Longlevens      Two Swifts over this afternoon. (Elly Rickleton).

Tirley     A Tawny Owl calling at 4:45am. (Mark Grieve).

Fosse Cross      A Tawny Owl flushed from roadside trees by Blackbirds near Fosse Cross, and flew across field late morning. (Jon Mercer).

My name is Mike King and have lived all my life in Gloucestershire. I am happiest birding around Frampton but I especially love Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.
