Cleeve Hill     This morning birds included a Wheatear, a Whinchat, a Red Kite and a non-reeling Grasshopper Warbler. (Mark Dowie).

WWT Slimbridge     A baby Common Crane took its first steps on the Rushy today. Also a Green Sandpiper and 22 Avocets. (James Lees).

Barrington     A Little Owl near the deer park today. (Ben Hilder).

Gloucester     At Horsebere Brook Flood Storage Lake 20 Swifts, a Kestrel, a Grey Wagtail, two Little Egrets, two Grey Herons and a Peregrine over. (Martin Greenish).

Wanswell     A Red Kite at 8:30am today. (Jeff Kirby).

Forest of Dean     Six Crossbills on top of May Hill this morning. (Rob Guest).

My name is Mike King and have lived all my life in Gloucestershire. I am happiest birding around Frampton but I especially love Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.
