Symonds Yat In the Yat Rock area the Peregrine pair and juvenile male, a Goshawk, Buzzards, 15 Ravens kettling together, a Green Woodpecker, a Great Spotted Woodpecker, Song Thrushes, Pied Wagtails and a Goldcrest. Other sightings included Large White, Holly Blue, Painted Lady, Meadow Brown, Ringlet, Green-veined White, Small Tortoiseshell and Gatekeeper butterflies, Hummingbird Hawk Moths and a buck Fallow Deer. Coombe Hill Meadows A pair of Mute Swans with four cygnets, a juvenile Shelduck, a Teal, six Little Egrets, two Grey Herons, 60 Lapwings, an immature Redshank, at least three Green Sandpipers, two Redstarts, three Whinchats, Sedge Warblers still churring in ditches, a few juvenile Chiffchaffs calling from hedges and a Reed Bunting.
