Sharpness     A juvenile SHAG still on the pool at SARA Lifeboat Station this afternoon. (Andy Jordan).

Tirley     A Little Owl calling at 5am, at 9:30am 40+ House Martins and Swallows moved S over the village, in the hedge behind cottage two Chiffchaffs, two Blackcaps (m & f) and a Lesser Whitethroat. (Mark Grieve).

Frampton pools     A CURLEW SANDPIPER flew over calling, a LESSER SPOTTED WOODPECKER and a Spotted Flycatcher this morning. This evening the adult Yellow-legged Gull again, a Hobby, 27 Chiffchaffs, a Yellow Wagtail, a Grey Wagtail, five Blackcaps, a Whitethroat, a Willow Warbler and 50+ House Martins. (Nick Goatman).

WWT Slimbridge     Two first-winter Arctic Terns and two Avocets on the estuary mud off of Mid Point and a juvenile LITTLE GULL feeding on the receding tide. (Martin McGill). My name is Mike King and have lived all my life in Gloucestershire. I am happiest birding around Frampton but I especially love Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.
