Sharpness     Two male BLACK REDSTARTS, one an adult male, around Gate 1 at the docks this morning. (Lee Gardiner).

Cotswold Water Park East     A BITTERN flushed from the reeds by a dog, then dropped into reeds on NW shore. Also a Green Sandpiper today. (Ian Ralphs).

Cotswold Water Park West     This afternoon at Shorncote Reedbed a Little Egret, four Water Rails heard, 35 Teal, five Shovelers, two Snipe, 40 Lapwings, two Buzzards, a Green Woodpecker, a Great Spotted Woodpecker, three Meadow Pipits, 15 Pied Wagtails, a Grey Wagtail, two pairs of Stonechats, c200 mixed Fieldfares and Redwings, four Cetti’s Warblers calling, a pair of Bullfinches and eight Reed Buntings. WWT Slimbridge     Two BITTERNS from Zeiss hide showing on and off all morning close to the hide. Also a Little Stint on the Rushy. (Slimbridge Sightings). Also a Brent Goose on the Dumbles, 13 GCRP Common Cranes and 100+ White-fronted Geese. (Paul Daunter).

Frampton pools     Late afternoon two CATTLE EGRETS, 14 Little Egrets, a Goshawk, a first-winter male Goldeneye, an adult Yellow-legged Gull, 98 Tufted Ducks, 31 Gadwalls, six Shovelers and six Wigeon. (Nick Goatman).

Brimscombe    A Dipper was alongside the Mill at Brimscombe Port at dusk this evening. (Trevor & Sue Clayson).

Sheepscombe     Along Painswick stream a Dipper near the waterfall by Tocknells Court SO881118. Also two Nuthatches, a mixed flock of 50+ Redwings and Fieldfares and two Coal Tits. (John Fletcher). Pic by John.

Coombe Hill Meadows     Seven Mute Swans, 395 Greylags, six Canada Geese, 190 Wigeon, 100 Teal, two Gadwalls, 20 Mallards, three Grey Herons, a Little Egret, two Buzzards, a Sparrowhawk, seven Coots, a Water Rail in Broadmere, 12 Lapwings, a Great Spotted Woodpecker drumming, three Skylarks, five Meadow Pipits, eight Pied Wagtails, 150 Fieldfares and 50 Redwings roosting in hedges. Leigh Meadows     A Green Sandpiper in rapids by the A38. (Mike Smart).

Staunton     22 Lapwings on autumn cereal today. (Mike Smart).

Symonds Yat     From Yat Rock viewpoint the resident Peregrines and an intruding Peregrine, a female Sparrowhawk, which was attacked by the Peregrines, two Buzzards, two Ravens, Long-tailed Tits, Redwings, four Song Thrushes, a Goldcrest, a Treecreeper, two Jays, a pair of Mandarins, two Fallow Deer and a Bank Vole today. Longlevens     A male Blackcap in the at 1:45pm, the first for three winters, with commoner garden birds. (Frank Bryant).

Cranham     A Raven picking at a Pheasant carcass very early this morning just outside Cranham on the Bisley to Birdlip Road. (Michael Cook).

Chapman’s Cross     Three Grey Partridges near Badminton Plantation and 150 Golden Plovers in the adjacent field at lunchtime. (Michael Cook).

Coates     On the canal towpath at Tunnel House this afternoon a mixed flock of finches including several Bramblings, Chaffinches, Redpolls, Goldfinches working through the tree canopy. (Michael Cook).

Bussage     Five Siskins and a Greenfinch garden feeders late afternoon. (Michael Cook).
