WWT Slimbridge    This morning eight Avocets on South Lake, also c140 Black-tailed Godwits, 700+ Lapwings, 90+ Golden Plovers, six Redshanks, four Ruff, 100+ Dunlins, a Little Stint and three Oystercatchers. On the Rushy 16 Redshanks, 90+ White-fronted Goose on the Dumbles and 160 Bewick’s Swans on site this morning. (Jon Mercer). Pic by Jon. Forest of Dean     At Crabtree Hill the GREAT GREY SHRIKE still, three Goosanders, 200 Siskins, 20 Lesser Redpolls, a Hawfinch, 15 Crossbills and four JACK SNIPE. (Mark Dowie).

Berkeley     A Barn Owl along Mill Lane at 6:17pm. (Paul Taylor). From Severn House Farm a SEAL sp feeding and drifting N and two Stonechats. (Tom Weston-McClung).

Upham Meadow     A Greylag, 50 Canada Geese, two Grey Herons, a Teal, 20 Mallards, three Curlews, a Kingfisher, c100 Skylarks, 25 Meadow Pipits and 25 Pied Wagtails. (Mike Smart).

Ashley     Three Buzzards, 400+ Fieldfares, 50+ Redwings, 210+ Starlings, 22+ Yellowhammers, three Great Spotted Woodpeckers, two Green Woodpeckers, a Pied Wagtail, a Kestrel, eight Linnets, five Bullfinches, five Golden Plovers NW, three Ravens, a Nuthatch, two Stock Doves, a Mistle Thrush, two Sparrowhawks and 16 Meadow Pipits. (Mark Grieve).

Cheltenham     A Raven seen and heard today and yesterday flying over Eldorado Road, and a garden Goldcrest today. (Keith White).

Sandhurst Hill     Birds today included 250 Redwings, 30 Fieldfares, 25 Skylarks, 45 Meadow Pipits, 40 Chaffinches, 30 Linnets, 35 House Sparrows, four Song Thrushes, a Mistle Thrush, five Stock Doves, two Goldcrests, a Bullfinch, two Buzzards and a Kestrel. (John Fletcher).
