Forest of Dean     At Woorgreens Lake  two Goosanders, two Teal, a Grey Heron, four Greylags and two Song Thrushes singing. At Crabtree Hill six Reed Buntings, the GREAT GREY SHRIKE, a Sparrowhawk, a Goshawk, two Buzzards and a Grey Heron today. (Alan Waterman). Quedgeley     A female/immature BLACK REDSTART at the levelling pool in Kingsway off of Chivenor Way this morning, a patch tick. (Mark Hobson).

Frampton     At Court Lake three CATTLE EGRETS, the GREAT WHITE EGRET in the reed bed and eight Little Egrets this morning. Four CATTLE EGRETS roosted this afternoon. (Nick Goatman).

Coombe Hill Meadows     c30 Lapwings, 24 Golden Plovers, a Water Rail and Little Owl this morning. (Ian Hull).

Ashleworth Ham     c1000 Lapwings, c30 Snipe and 20 Gadwalls this afternoon. (Ian Hull).

Siccaridge Wood GWT and Sapperton Valley N.R.     Three Treecreepers, three Goldcrests, five Coal Tits, five Jays, two drumming Great Spotted Woodpeckers, a Green Woodpecker, six Nuthatches, two Stock Doves, six Mistle Thrushes, a Skylark, a male Sparrowhawk, a Marsh Tit, 35+ Goldfinches, three Bullfinches, a Dipper, a female Grey Wagtail and a Buzzard. Also a Muntjac and a Fox. 16 Fieldfares at Bisley. Hawling     12 Buzzards, seven Red Kits, c300 Golden Plovers, c100 Linnets, two male Yellowhammers, five Skylarks and flocks of Fieldfares, Redwings and Meadow Pipits. (Chris & Phil Andrews).

Slimbridge     A Peregrine on the St John the Evangelist Church in Slimbridge at 4:45pm at SO740036. (Duerden Cormack).

WWT Slimbridge     A Water Rail underneath the feeders from Willow Hide and two Avocets also arrived on South Lake at 9:30am. (Duerden Cormack). My name is Mike King and have lived all my life in Gloucestershire. I am happiest birding around Frampton but I especially love Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.
