Forest of Dean     Two singing Wood Warblers at Horse Lawn/Yewtree Brake Inclosure on a triangular walk from the car park. Several Tree Pipits at Crabtree Hill including a colour ringed one, blue over orange. Two Pied Flycatchers at Nagshead and a pair of Mandarins in the Lower Hide pond. (Vic Polley & Dursley Bird Club).

WWT Slimbridge    A first summer and a second summer Mediterranean Gull on the Rushy and two pairs of Avocets with a chick. Also 92 Black-tailed Godwits and 54 Avocets on South Lake including three small chicks and at least ten larger chicks. (MK).

Coombe Hill Meadows     This morning two adult Oystercatchers with two chicks, c10 adult Lapwings and two broods of 2 and 3 large chicks and a brood of two very recently hatched chicks, two pairs of Redshanks with young, one pair with at least one large chick almost flying, and another brood with four tiny chicks, recently hatched, at least two Curlews, a Little Ringed Plover, a pair of Mute Swans with at least six cygnets, a Little Egret, a Grasshopper Warbler still reeling, a Reed Warbler, at least two Cuckoos and smaller numbers of Sedge Warblers, Blackcaps, Whitethroats, Willow Warblers, Chiffchaffs and Reed Buntings. Ashleworth Ham     A pair of Canada Geese with four goslings, a pair of Shelducks with only one chick left, nine Mallards and a male Teal. (Les Brown).

Elkestone     A Red Kite near the Highwayman Inn on A417 at Beech Pike today. (Mark Grieve).

Gloucester     Ten House Martins and a Swift over Gloucester Docks today. (Mark Grieve).
