Frampton    At Court Lake the GREAT WHITE EGRET still, and around the pools eight Green Sandpipers, two Common Sandpipers, the adult Yellow-legged Gull, two Swifts, two Willow Warblers, 22 Chiffchaffs, nine Blackcaps, two Whitethroats, a Hobby and a Water Rail. Berkeley shore     An adult Yellow-legged Gull, two Ringed Plovers, four Common Sandpipers, three Wheatears, a Yellow Wagtail and a Sand Martin today. (Paul Taylor).

Nailsworth     A Hobby flew N along the Nailsworth valley this morning and 6+ Swifts. (Roy Bircher).

Sharpness     This morning a Redstart at the picnic site and two Yellow Wagtails and three Common Sandpipers towards Berkeley pill. (Andy Jordan).

Cirencester     Three Swifts over the town centre this evening. (Jon Mercer).

Bisley     A Tawny Owl calling at 11:57pm. (Mark Grieve).

WWT Slimbridge     A Swift, a Whitethroat, two Yellow Wagtails, two Whinchats, a Wheatear, ten Green Sandpipers, 24 Curlews, a Raven and 30+ Chiffchaffs today. (Tom Weston McClung). Also the Wood Sandpiper still at Robbie Garnett hide. (Andy Jordan).

Lydney New Grounds     Along the foreshore this morning, three Common Sandpipers, three Curlews, a Little Egret, five Wheatears, two Buzzards and a Kestrel. (Steve Brown).

Symonds Yat     From Yat Rock viewpoint today the resident Peregrine pair and a juvenile, a Goshawk, two Hobbies, a male and female Sparrowhawk, six Buzzards, Nuthatches, Coal Tits, four Ravens, two Swifts, House Martins and Swallows, six Linnets, Stock Doves. Other sightings included Common Blue, Holly Blue, Speckled Wood and Meadow Brown butterflies and a Hornet. Coombe Hill Meadows     A Canada Goose, five Teal, four Shovelers, 70 Mallards, five Grey Herons, a Kestrel hunting, 20 Moorhens, 130 Lapwings, at least five Green Sandpipers, a Kingfisher along the canal, three immature Whinchats sitting in the uncut grass and lots of immature Chiffchaffs calling from the vegetation. Sheepscombe     Five Buzzards, one bird was mobbing the three of the others, including a juvenile at SO882118. Also nine House Martins, two Swallows, a Swift and two Mallards. (John Fletcher). Pics by John.

Edge     At Sevenleaze Lane at SO846106 an adult female Sparrowhawk, a Yellowhammer, three Blackcaps, a Bullfinch, a Goldcrest and five Spotted Flycatchers. (John Fletcher).

Forest of Dean     At Blaize Bailey a female Sparrowhawk  visiting the garden frequently but with little success, attracted by large flock of 30+ Goldfinches with numerous
