Cotswold Water Park East     The GREAT NORTHERN DIVER on Pit 125 Bowmoor Sailing Club lake still today. (Richard Williams/Ian Ralphs). Also a BITTERN until 11:50am at least in the reed bed near to the Sailing Club and the first-winter SCAUP still. (Ian Ralphs). A Green Sandpiper was on Pit 126. (Ivan & Rose Sansom). Great Northern Diver 161217

Symonds Yat     From the viewpoint today the resident Peregrines, eight Buzzards, a male Sparrowhawk, three Wigeon (1m, 2f), two Marsh Tits, a Jay, six Ravens, a Stock Dove, a Redwing, a Song Thrush and a Great Spotted Woodpecker. Other sightings included four Fallow Deer including two bucks sparring and two Bank Voles.
