Cotswold Water Park East     At Pit 104 four SAND MARTINS, seven Goosanders, four Goldeneyes, eight Lesser Redpolls and ten Siskins. (Mick Jones).

Symonds Yat     A LESSER SPOTTED WOODPECKER by the cabin at Yat Rock this morning. (Russell Peacey).

Sharpness     A BLACK REDSTART this morning feeding around the parked cars on the green around the small power station building. (Colin Greenfield). This afternoon a BLACK REDSTART was on an old railway carriage at the end of Dock Road. (Wilf Lewis). Pic by Wilf.

Frampton pools     The Red-breasted Goose with 196 Barnacle Geese at Court Lake this morning, also a drake Goldeneye, 16 Pochards (13m), 72 Tufted Ducks, four Gadwalls, four Shovelers and three Curlews over. (Nick Goatman).

Forest of Dean     At Nagshead a Treecreeper, a Nuthatch, a Great Spotted Woodpecker, a Mistle Thrush, c6 Goldcrests, a Raven and a Red Kite over. (Chris Newton).

Rudford     On flood water this morning a drake Mandarin, three Stock Doves, a Pied Wagtail, two Buzzards, a Green Woodpecker, two Greylags, 300+ Black-headed Gulls, 20+ Lesser Black-backed Gulls, two Treecreepers, two Skylark and four Roe Deer. (Mark Grieve).

Woodford, Berkeley     Several Skylarks singing, a drake Mandarin on floodwater with several Teal, a pair of Ravens, a Buzzard and three Little Egrets flying over. (Andrew Jones).

Coombe Hill Meadows      Birds included six Mute Swans, two Greylags, c500 Wigeon, c1000 Teal, c40 Pintails, c40 Shovelers, three Gadwalls, six Tufted Ducks, a pair of Oystercatchers, c300 Lapwings, four Golden Plovers, two Redshanks, 28 Ruffs, three Dunlins, 3-4 Curlews, a Great Spotted Woodpecker drumming and at least four singing Reed Buntings. Cobney Meadows     A pair of Mute Swans, 100 Wigeon, 700 Teal, ten Shovelers, ten Pintails and a Little Owl. Nearby two Curlews on the Severn above Malthouse Farm. (Mike Smart).
