Forest of Dean     At Crabtree Hill the GREAT GREY SHRIKE still early morning, also two Reed Buntings and three Stonechats. At Woorgreens Lake eight Goosanders and two Little Grebes. At Cannop Pond 17 Mandarins, two Gadwalls and two Little Grebes. (Graham Tompsett). A Brimstone butterfly over the garden in Mitcheldean at noon. (Chris Keeling).

Cotswold Water Park West     A GREAT WHITE EGRET in the quarry this morning. A MERLIN past the hide at the reedbeds this afternoon. (Dave Soons).

Westonbirt     c10 Hawfinches at Westonbirt Arboretum today. (Mark Hobson).

Frampton     A Barn Owl hunting at Splatt Bridge at 7am. On the flashes N of Splatt 32 Shelducks, 60 Curlews, two Snipe, two Redshanks, a Lapwing, a pair of Oystercatchers and a Little Egret. (MK).

Alderton     A Red-legged Partridge, a Blackcap and a Lesser Redpoll in the garden today. (Graham Tompsett).

Hempsted     c6000 Starlings over Llanthony Weir and Hemmingsdale Road at 5:30pm. (Gordon Avery).

Winchcombe     Garden birds today included a male Siskin, a male Bullfinch, a Song Thrush singing and six Goldfinches. (Gill Worthington).

Cheltenham     At Benhall Brimstone and Comma butterflies in the garden and a Green Woodpecker through this morning. (Ian Ralphs).
