Lydney     The GLOSSY IBIS again today along the perimeter fence of the pumping station near Lydney station until 2:45pm at least. (Owen Follis).

Saul     Three CATTLE EGRETS in the horse paddocks near Cadbury Bridge this morning at 7:40am. (Roy Widgery). Also five Little Egrets. (Phil Pope).

Saul Warth     A MERLIN at 9am today. (Phil Pope).

Pope’s Hill     A FIRECREST this morning, the first recorded here since 2008. (John & Viv Phillips).

WWT Slimbridge     Two adult summer Mediterranean Gulls on South Lake today. (Les Ditchburn).

Frampton     Three Swallows and 20+ Sand Martins at 10:15am on the Sailing Lake. (Martin Greenish). This evening at the pools a Swallow, 24 Sand Martins, ten Chiffchaffs, 54 Fieldfares, three Redwings, three Egyptian Geese, five Siskins, a pair of Oystercatchers and a pair of Grey Wagtails. (Nick Goatman). Also a Brambling. (Gordon Hodgson). On Splatt flashes this afternoon 38 Curlews, five Lapwings, a Little Egret, a male Reed Bunting, four Gadwalls, a Peregrine, a Kestrel and three Buzzards including a white one. (MK). Hardwicke     A Red Kite over junction 12 of the M5 at 6pm. (Gareth Jones).

Tresham     Early evening at least two Corn Buntings including one bird singing. Also 100+ Golden Plovers and three Yellowhammers. (Paul Rich).

Gloucester     Two Mandarins at Sandhurst on the farm pond this evening. (Martin Greenish).

Hartpury     At Hartpury Perry Pear Centre pools at least six Snipe, 12 Teal, two Mute Swans, two Canada Geese, a Moorhen and a singing Chiffchaff. (Juliet Bailey).

Arlingham     A Red Kite at SO711116 flew fairly low directly over the orchards and Warth Lane from the E and headed W. (Paddy Doyle).
