Forest of Dean     A TREE PIPIT at Yew Tree Brake today. (Lewis Thomson).

Frampton     This morning at 8:25am two CATTLE EGRETS flew S along the canal and looked to drop into the 100-Acre. Also a Green Sandpiper at Splatt Bridge. (Gordon Hodgson). A White Wagtail dropped in with seven Pied Wagtails at Court Lake at 1:30pm. Also 150+ Sand Martins, a Swallow and a Mandarin. (Mark Dowie).

Saul Warth     The MERLIN again this morning. (Gordon Hodgson).

Upton St Leonards     Six Hawfinches in Upton Leonard’s Churchyard at 1pm. (Vanda Owen).

WWT Slimbridge     A Mediterranean Gull flew over the car park at 8:55am heading towards South Lake. (Sam Walker).

Cheltenham     A female Goosander still on Pittville boating lake at 9:30am. (David Owen). Also two Mistle Thrushes on the grass outside Pittville Pump Room. (Mike Beer). Pic by Mike.

A bedraggled Peregrine on top of Christchurch today. It is on the top most days and on Wednesday there was a second Peregrine on a different pinnacle. (David Norman). Pic by David.

Cleeve Hill     This morning a Corn Bunting on a path along the gallops, 50+ Yellowhammers and a Stonechat. (Martin Greenish).

Charlton Abbotts     A female Brambling around the farm buildings at SP032240 today. (Graham Tompsett).

My name is Mike King and have lived all my life in Gloucestershire. I am happiest birding around Frampton but I especially love Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.
