Uley     A White Stork reported at midday over Uley Bury and village. (Chris Bolton).

Netheridge Farm     A GREAT WHITE EGRET flew over W at 7:45am. (Mark Hobson).

WWT Slimbridge     A SHORT-EARED OWL on the Dumbles seawall near Holden Tower  this morning then flew over the bank to the Tack Piece. (Slimbridge Sightings).

Frampton pools     Two GREAT WHITE EGRETS, a Green Sandpiper, 14 Common Terns, five Grey Herons, 100+ Starlings and five Swifts around the pools this evening. (Nick Goatman).

Cotswold Water Park West     At Shorncote Reed beds around Pits 84, 85a and 85b this afternoon birds included 12 Common Terns including two juveniles, nine Black-headed Gulls including four chicks, one of which killed by a tern, three Gadwalls, two Tufted Ducks, eight Mute Swans (6 cygnets), two Buzzards, five Lapwings, two Grey Herons, a Cormorant, a Stock Dove, nine Swallows, two Lesser Whitethroats, a Willow Warbler, two Reed Warblers, three Sedge Warblers, five Greenfinches, 15 Goldfinches and 12+ Reed Buntings.
