WWT Slimbridge     A Blue-headed Wagtail briefly on Rushy at 5:45pm. (Rich Hearn). A BITTERN seen three times between 1-1:30pm from Zeiss hide looking SW towards the Kingfisher hide. (Phil Pope). At Mid Point a MERLIN flushed from the pill and flew up river towards Frampton. (Slimbridge Sightings).

Forest of Dean     At Soudley Ponds this afternoon 12 Mandarins (10 m), a Grey Heron, two Little Grebes and a Grey Wagtail. (Andy & Sue Gibbons).

Frampton     Two Marsh Harriers hunting over the 100-Acre this afternoon viewed from Saul Warth. (MK). At the pools a Marsh Harrier, two CATTLE EGRETS, two GREAT WHITE EGRETS, five Little Egrets, five Grey Herons, 13 Great Crested Grebes, 36 Teal, six Gadwalls, five Shovelers, a Pintail and two Chiffchaffs. (Nick Goatman).

Saul Warth     This afternoon approaching high tide a Ringed Plover, 100+ Curlews, 60+ Shelducks, four Grey Herons and a Little Egret. Also a Wheatear, 12 Meadow Pipits, two Skylarks, two Stock Doves, 22 Long-tailed Tits and a Raven and at least one late Small Copper. (MK).
