Forest of Dean    At Parkend today a LESSER SPOTTED WOODPECKER, five Jays, two Great Spotted Woodpeckers, two Bramblings and c40 Crossbills. (Thomas Winstone).

Cirencester Park     This afternoon in Oakley Wood (SO 96954 03139) a Hawfinch. Also several Bramblings in with a flock of Chaffinches. (Martine Fenn).

Churchdown     A pair of Ring-necked Parakeets in the garden today and also two pairs of Blackcaps. (Frances Smith). Pic by Frances.

Coombe Hill Meadows    At least 300 Canada Geese, 75 Greylags but most flew out N, 1100 Wigeon, 600 Teal, seven Pintails, 50 Mallards, 275 Lapwings, two Barnacle Geese and two Reed Buntings along the towpath. (Mike Smart).

Staunton   Two vocalising Woodcocks over today heading S. (Harvey Sherwood).
