Highnam At Linton Farm SO 8018, 35 Mallards, a Buzzard, three Snipe flushed from crop and a big mixed flock of Woodpigeons and at least 150 Stock Doves and c20 Yellowhammers on game crop. (Mike Smart).
Stanley Downton/Stonehouse This afternoon a female Kestrel hunting from a tree along the Frome and a Dipper under the same tree. Two Jays, a Buzzard and several Redwings in the same area. A Cormorant on a pylon near Church End. Three Little Grebes together and a fourth further along on same stretch of canal between The Ocean and Bonds Mill. (Paul Sutton).
