150 Mute Swans on Big Pen and on South Lake a Common Sandpiper and a male Ruff. (Mike Smart). The drake GARGANEY on South Lake, but elusive and the adult LITTLE GULL roosting on the scrape early morning but flew off N. Two adults and a 2nd summer MEDITERRANEAN GULL on the Rushy, and a 2nd summer on South Lake. (Jon Mercer). Pics by Jon.

Frampton     A LITTLE TERN early morning only on the Sailing Lake and five Common Terns. (Nick Goatman). Also an Oystercatcher, a Shelduck and 100 Sand Martins. (MK). A Greenshank on Splatt Flashes at 12:30pm. (Mark Hobson).

Saul Warth     Still eight Whimbrels this early afternoon and a Lesser Whitethroat by the Sewage Works. (MK). Pic by Mike.

Epney     Nine Whimbrels just S of the Anchor Inn at 5:25pm. (MK).

Frampton pools     This evening a Blue-headed Wagtail, five Yellow Wagtails, a White Wagtail and eight Pied Wagtails on newly planted field. (Nick Goatman).

Coombe Hill Meadows     Two summer-plumage Dunlins today. (Duncan Dine). Also a Yellow Wagtail. (Ian Ralphs).

Stanley Downton     A Red Kite flew low over the road near Downton Farm then was chased off W by Crows. (Paul Sutton).

Tewkesbury    From Lower Lode to Chaceley Stock two Curlews, a Cuckoo singing, 40 Sand Martins round a colony on the river bank, two Redstarts singing, five Lesser Whitethroats singing and two Reed Buntings singing. At Lower Lode brickpits three male Gadwalls, a female Mallard with three ducklings, six Tufted Ducks, three Cormorants, a Little Grebe and ten Coots. (Mike Smart).
