Forest of Dean At Nagshead this morning male and female Pied Flycatchers, three Redstarts (2m, 1f), male and female Siskin, a Treecreeper bathing in a pond, two Jays, a Garden Warbler, a female Great Spotted Woodpecker, a Tawny Owl heard at 8am and two Wild Boars. (Dave Stone). Pics by Dave.

Cirencester At least four Crossbills in Oakley Wood including at least one adult male. Also plenty of Pearl-bordered Fritillaries still. (Peter Chappell).
Oakridge At Strawberry Banks N.R. SO0910033 4+ Marsh Fritillaries, also Dingy Skippers, Orange Tip, Peacock, Small Heaths, Common Blues and Comma. Birds included 1+ Nuthatch, two Buzzards, a Raven, a Stock Dove, 2+ Blackcaps, a Chiffchaff and six Long-tailed Tits. (MK).
