Leighterton     Five QUAIL calling along the Monarch’s Way from the cemetery, three by the stone stile and two more c50 metres nearer the metal gate, all in the field opposite Bennett’s Farm. (Barry Englefield).

Tresham area     A QUAIL calling late evening from the footpath that goes through the fields back to the A46, E of the village, around ST 80514 91345. (Paul Rich).

Forest of Dean     At Lower hide, Nagshead today, male, female and juvenile Redstart, a Siskin, a juvenile Hawfinch and a Spotted Flycatcher. (Paul Dunham). Also an adult Hawfinch today. (Chris & Trees Stone). Pics by Paul.

About The Gloster Birder

My name is Mike King and have lived all my life in Gloucestershire. I am happiest birding around Frampton but I especially love Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.
