Forest of Dean    Two Spotted Flycatchers, a Tree Pipit and a Marbled White butterfly today on the edge of Blaize Bailey. (Dave Smith). At 12.30pm a Red Kite soaring in circles on the S side of St Briavels village, shortly it flew off SE after being mobbed by a Buzzard and crows. (Bob Broughton).

Dudbridge     On the canal five Mandarins (1f, 4 juvs) and two Grey Wagtails. (Keith & Lyn Perkins).

Stroud     At Wallbridge on the canal three Grey Wagtails (ad & 2 juvs). (Keith & Lyn Perkins). A Red Kite flying over Park Road and also four Ravens. (Rich Smart).

Coombe Hill Meadows     A Cetti’s Warbler, three Whitethroats, a singing Yellowhammer, two Little Grebes, a Grey Heron, five Little Egrets including a ringed bird and five Green Sandpipers. (Duncan Dine/Jonathan Bull).

Ashleworth Ham     This afternoon birds included six Lapwings (2ads, 4juvs), 52 Mallards, a male Tufted Duck, three Canada Geese, five Moorhens, three Grey Herons, a Reed Bunting, a Great Spotted Woodpecker heard, a Blackcap and three Buzzards. (John Fletcher).

South Cerney     A Curlew on the airfield today. (Chris Snook).
