Wednesday 4th September 2019

Frampton pools     A Swift, 50+ Sand Martins, 30+ Swallows, a Yellow Wagtail, three Grey Wagtails, six Mistle Thrushes, a Yellow-legged Gull and two Reed Warblers today. (Nick Goatman).

Nailsworth     At least five Swifts and 300+ House Martins, and at least ten Sand Martins moving S between 4-5:45pm. (Terry Grant).

Coombe Hill Meadows     This afternoon a Grey Heron, 100+ Greylags, Canada Geese, a Kestrel, Gadwall, House Martin, Swallow, Cormorant, Lapwing and a Southern Hawker. (Alan McIlquham).

Guscar Rocks     A Slimbridge head-started Curlew with colour ring white 21 was in the high tide roost this morning. (John Sanders).

Woodford     A Dipper on the Little Avon at 11;45am today. (Kenny Hills).

About The Gloster Birder

My name is Mike King and have lived all my life in Gloucestershire. I am happiest birding around Frampton but I especially love Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.
