Forest of Dean At Speech House at 7:15am a male Tawny Owl heard S of the road. At Parkend cricket pitch at 7:30am four Hawfinches in the treetops on the N side. At Cannop Pond by the Stoneworks two Dippers and seven Tufted Ducks. From the picnic site eight Mandarins (5m, 3f), eight Tufted Ducks and a Siskin. On Woorgreens Lake a male Goosander, a Raven, 2+ Lesser Redpolls and a female Siskin. On Crabtree Hill three Hawfinches, a male Stonechat and Crossbills heard. (Derek Hale).
