Cotswold Water Park East     A Sparrowhawk, nine Snipe, six Siskins, two Cettis Warblers, six Water Rails, an Egyptian Goose and two Red Crested Pochards. (Ian Ralphs).

Frampton pools     50+ Dunlins and 500+ Golden Plovers flew over, three Pintails, a Yellow-legged Gull, three Stonechats, two Bramblings, a Blackcap, 100+Fieldfares, 50+Redwings and 44 Pied Wagtails today. At Court Lake roost this evening a Cattle Egret, 35 Little Egrets, 24 Cormorants and two Water Rails calling. (Nick Goatman).

Highnam Woods     Birds this afternoon included two Marsh Tits, five Coal Tits, two Great Spotted Woodpeckers, three Pied Wagtails, two Nuthatches, 39 Redwings, a Jay, two Song Thrushes and three Buzzards. (John Fletcher). Pic by John.

My name is Mike King and have lived all my life in Gloucestershire. I am happiest birding around Frampton but I especially love Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.
