HNY

Gloucester    Around Alney Island today 15 Shovelers, three Gadwalls, 200 Teal, a Jack Snipe, six Snipe, three Treecreepers, 165 Redwings and a pair of Stonechats. (Andy Jayne).

Bamfurlong     A Barn Owl sat on the the chevron road sign at the junction of Badgeworth Road and Bamfurlong Lane at 5:40am. (Ian Major).

Symonds Yat     In the Yat Rock area today the resident Peregrine pair and the Peregrine pair on Doward Hill nearby, two Buzzards, two Goosanders (m & f), a Great Spotted Woodpecker drumming, two Goldcrests, Mistle Thrushes, a Stock Dove, a Raven, Nuthatches and a small flock of Long-tailed Tits. Other sightings included four Fallow Deer and a Bank Vole. (Chris & Phil Andrews). Pic by Phil.
