Snowshill     The GREAT GREY SHRIKE still this morning at SP114335. Please note this bird is always distant and a scope is recommended. (Duncan Dine). Also a ringtail HEN HARRIER in the area. (Terry Fenton).

Calmsden     Three Grey Partridges this morning at SP 04461 09648. Also a Barn Owl out hunting at 10:25am and a Raven. Nearby 100+ Chaffinches on a rough field at The Tallet. (MK). Pic by Mike.

Roel Hill     In a game strip just below Roel Hill Farm c30 Corn Buntings, 500 Linnets and 100 each of Yellowhammers and Chaffinches. (Duncan & Becky Dine).

WWT Slimbridge    Eight Pink-footed Geese at the N end of the Dumbles still. Also a Merlin and a Marsh Harrier. (Slimbridge Sightings).

Berkeley shore     A Turnstone with Dunlins this morning. (Martin Greenish/Michelle Davies).

Cotswold Water Park West     At Shorncote Reedbeds this morning a Little Egret, two Egyptian Geese, 10+ Water Rails calling, 14 Lapwings, a Green Woodpecker, a Kingfisher, a Grey Wagtail, a male Stonechat, 50 Fieldfares, 20 Redwings, five Cetti’s Warblers, two Chiffchaffs, a Goldcrest, a pair of Bullfinches, 30 Linnets, ten Reed Buntings, a Raven and a Barn Owl reported at 7:30am. Also four Roe Deer. At Pit 44 50 Red Crested Pochards, at Neigh Bridge car park 2-3 Siskins and at Pit 56 five Goosanders (3m, 2f). At Pit 12 two pairs of Goldeneyes, a Kestrel and a pair of Kingfishers. (Jon Mercer/John Grearson/MK).

Forest of Dean     Three Hawfinches at Parkend, 19 Mandarins (14m, 5f), two Dippers, c50 Siskins and Brambling at Cannop ponds, three Crossbills, four Goosanders, two Stonechats, 50 Snipe, seven Reed Buntings and c150 Siskins and Brambling and a few Lesser Redpolls around Woorgreens/Crabtree Hill. Frampton pools     An adult male Goldeneye, eight Shovelers, six Gadwalls, 32 Tufted Ducks, four Little Grebes, five Greylags, 150+ Linnets, 16 Song Thrushes, 15 Snipe and the regular roosting Tawny Owl. (Nick Goatman).

Stonehouse     On the canal by Bonds Mill four Little Grebes today. (Keith & Lyn Perkins).
