WWT Slimbridge     At 8:15am a male COMMON SCOTER flew downriver (Martin McGill), also seen at Berkeley shore. (Les Ditchburn). A GREAT SKUA from the Estuary Tower between 12:15pm and 12:42pm when it flew high out to the estuary due S. (Carol Rushton/Steve Curtis/Alan Jones). An adult MEDITERRANEAN GULL, a drake Goldeneye and 47 Avocets on South Lake today. (Mike Davis).

Cotswold Water Park West     On Pit 16 at 5:35pm a juvenile ICELAND GULL, four Egyptian Geese and two Oystercatchers. (Graham Lawlor).

Frampton    At Splatt Bridge at dusk a Barn Owl hunting around the reed bed to the S, also a Short-eared Owl. View only from the towpath. (Mike Davis). At Court Lake a CATTLE EGRET came in to roost with 18 Little Egrets, also a male Goldeneye displaying to a Mallard, a male Mandarin, an Oystercatcher, a Grey Wagtail, 30+ Redwings and four Treecreepers. (Nick Goatman).

Sharpness     A Common Sandpiper below the pier today. (Les Ditchburn).

Forest of Dean     At Greathough Brook this morning two Goshawks and a Dipper. (Owen Follis). A Red Kite near Flaxley for the past two days. (Gareth Jones).

Cirencester     A Peregrine sat on top of Cirencester parish church at 5pm, also a Sparrowhawk over the church at 4:55pm. (Dave Soons).

Ashleworth    This evening at Ashleworth Quay a Barn Owl, a Little Owl and a Tawny Owl heard. (Josh Adamms).

Daglingworth    Along the Park Corner to Sapperton road two Bramblings with 50 Chaffinches and hundreds of Linnets in the trees and ranging around the fields at
SO956033. Also two Muntjacs nearby. (Steve Brown).

Halmore    Garden birds today included a male Greenfinch, two Coal Tits, four Chaffinches and a male Blackcap. (Chris Newton). Pic by Chris.
