Ashleworth Ham This afternoon birds included five Lapwings (2 ad, 3 tiny chicks), a pair of Oystercatchers with a chick, two Curlews, eight Mute Swans, five Mallards, a Grey Heron, a mixed flock of 25 Swallows and House Martins, seven Blackcaps, a Jay, two Great Spotted Woodpeckers, two Bullfinches, three Chiffchaffs, two Song Thrushes, a Pied Wagtail and two Stock Doves. Along Stank Lane two Grey Herons, two Buzzards, seven Reed Buntings, five Skylarks, a Whitethroat, six Blackcaps, two Chiffchaffs, five Swifts, a Pied Wagtail and two Song Thrushes. (John Fletcher).
