WWT Slimbridge     On the Tack Piece this morning a female Ruddy Shelduck still.  On South Lake 51 adult Avocets and many chicks of various ages, an Oystercatcher with two chicks and a Little Ringed Plover from Hogarth hide. From Zeiss hide a Knot with 57 Black-tailed Godwits, 16 Redshanks, an Oystercatcher and 73 Avocets. A Green Sandpiper on the Rushy. Tewkesbury     Two Kingfishers at The Mythe N.R. today. (Lizzie Croose).

Forest of Dean     In the Flaxley area today, a Goshawk, a Firecrest, a Wood Warbler, three Garden Warblers, three Spotted Flycatchers, four juvenile Treecreepers, two Grey Wagtails, a Dipper and five Siskins. (Andy Jayne).

Newent     Two Spotted Flycatcher N of Newent, near the Three Shires Garden Centre. Also a Barn Owl hunting on Monday 8th. (Dan Mason).

Coombe Hill Meadows     A Ringed Teal (or hybrid) was present yesterday, 9th. (Eden Tanner). Pic by Eden.

Gloucester     A Red Kite low over Tuffley Avenue and Tuffley Park this afternoon. (Justin Hobbs per Ian Elphick). In Hempsted two Great Spotted Woodpeckers together on a garden bird feeder this morning. (per Mike Teesdale).

Winchcombe     From the garden a male Bullfinch, five Long-tailed Tits, families of Goldfinches around the bird feeders, a Greenfinch and three Swifts circling overhead. (Andrew Worthington).
