Coombe Hill Meadows     A family of Sedge Warblers, a family of Whinchats, two juvenile Little Ringed Plovers, a Snipe, c40 Lapwings, a Kingfisher and Clouded Yellow butterflies on the meadows. (Geoff Fawcett/Les Ditchburn).

WWT Slimbridge     A Marsh Harrier from Robbie Garnett hide, disturbed a Peregrine sat in a tree. (Adam Waller). A juvenile CATTLE EGRET from Zeiss hide. 11 Green Sandpipers on the Rushy. (Tim Jukes). Also 49 Avocets, 75 Dunlins, a Ringed Plover, five Little Ringed Plovers, a Green Sandpiper, a pair of Common Crane pairs and a juvenile female Peregrine on the Dumbles. (Ian Hull). On South Lake two adult Little Stints with 127 Dunlins, an adult Spotted Redshank, 41 Redshanks, 12 Ruff, 270 Black-tailed Godwits, two Green Sandpipers, four Little Ringed Plovers and two juvenile Avocets. Nailsworth     Between 3:45pm and 4:30pm at least 2,600+ Swifts milling over the Rape fields at Hazelcote Farm and then moving S. More birds were still coming as the afternoon went on, dropping in from a great height. (Terry Grant).

Gloucester     A Lesser Whitethroat in the garden this morning in Barnwood Avenue, a garden tick. (Rob Crofton). Two Ravens over Chatsworth Avenue, Tuffley, headed off towards Kingsway. (Dean Lord). At Horsebere Flood Storage Area SO866189 this evening 57 Goldfinches, four Greenfinches (1 m, 3 juvs), two Swifts, eight Moorhens including four chicks, 31 Mallards, a Grey Heron and eight Mute Swans including six cygnets.
