Frampton pools     Two Whinchats, a Stonechat, 45 Chiffchaffs, 17 Blackcaps, five Willow Warblers, a Garden Warbler, 11 Whitethroats, two Yellow Wagtails, nine Reed Warblers, a Green Sandpiper, a Yellow-legged Gull and five Common Terns today. (Nick Goatman). At 7:44am a large V formation of c22 Cormorants flew towards Slimbridge. (Tanya Allen).

Whittington to Waterhatch     52 species including three Red Kites, 15 Buzzards, four Kestrels, a Hobby, five Ravens, nine Marsh Tits, two Sand Martins, a Garden Warbler, 29 Whitethroats, three Spotted Flycatchers, three Redstarts, three Grey Wagtails, three Tree Pipits, two Siskins and five Corn Buntings. Woodmancote     A pair of Red Kites circling above the garden in Two Hedges Road and a second sighting of a single bird later. (Keith Pengelly).

My name is Mike King and have lived all my life in Gloucestershire. I am happiest birding around Frampton but I especially love Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.
