Hawling     A male HEN HARRIER at 11:30am today. (Martyn Simmons).

Forest of Dean     A juvenile Goshawk made a pass at pigeons over Lidl in Cinderford this afternoon. (Dan Watson).

Dowdeswell Reservoir     A Kingfisher, a Grey Heron, a Snipe and three Moorhens today. (Tom Mabbett).

Berkeley shore     S of the Power station 12:30-1:30pm birds included 11 Greylags, 195+ Canada Geese, 14 Wigeon, 14 Pied Wagtails, a Stonechat, six Curlews, three Meadow Pipits and 15+ Redwings. (Tom Weston-McClung).

Gloucester    A female Brambling in the garden today at Tuffley. (Mark Hobson).

Ashleworth Ham    WeBS count this morning included three Mute Swans, 73 Canada Geese, five Greylags, 500 Wigeon, five Gadwalls, 175 Teal, 100 Mallards, 20 Pintails, 90 Shovelers, a Grey Heron, ten Coots, 28 Lapwings and 43 Snipe. Also a Tawny Owl calling repeatedly at first light, then again once mid-morning, 2 or 3 Meadow Pipits, a Stonechat, 20 Fieldfares, three Chiffchaffs,at least two birds singing and a Reed Bunting. Coombe Hill Meadows  WeBS count this morning birds included 382 Greylags, 61 Canada Geese, nine Mallards, 29 Wigeon, 46 Teal, nine Mute Swans, four Gadwalls, 12 Shovelers, two Moorhens, two Water Rails, 11 Lapwings, two Grey Herons, 15 Black-headed Gulls, five Meadow Pipits, a Pied Wagtail, a female Sparrowhawk and many Fieldfares and Redwings.
